Planting Seeds of Hope, One Child at a Time

The Hope Tree Project’s mission is to plant seeds of hope, one child at a time by providing requested gifts—including clothing, shoes, coats, and toys—as well as essential necessities such as school supplies and grocery gift cards to identified students and their families in need at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools during the holiday season.

Our secondary mission is to provide meaningful, hands-on opportunities for children and families in our community to serve their peers. Through volunteering, they develop leadership skills, cultivate empathy, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges many local families face.

Ultimately, The Hope Tree Project brings joy, smiles, and hope to families throughout our Charlotte community.

Working hand-in-hand with CMS school counselors and social workers, we identify families with the greatest needs and provide personalized holiday support based on each child’s specific wish list. Every sponsored child receives:
